As 2013 comes to an end and we look towards the New Year, I'm anticipating all the good and bad experiences that may lie ahead. But no matter what happens – every minute of every hour will be ours.
For so many of us, the daily grind and fast pace of our lives leaves little time left in the day for just us. Responsibilities at work and at home are things we’re grateful for, but they also demand a lot of our time.
If you think about it, TIME is really the most valuable thing that we own. As blogger Lucie on the Lam said,
Time is one of the greatest gifts of life. It is life’s currency. When you look back on your life, you’re going to count your hours and days and weeks and months and years and wonder where they went.
I hope the time we have next year doesn’t go by too fast and we appreciate every moment. I hope we’ll forget what day it is and make the mental space to reconnect with the things that really matter.
I hope we’ll come back with a “suitcase of memories…”
